Most people write, some like short stories and some like prose. Many of you will have already written, some thing about how you feel, what you see and when something is a good or a bad thing.
Writing poetry is a way to express how you feel about something that inspires you. There are so many different types of poetry, prose, spoken word and written word. There is no right or wrong way to write it down but there are ways you can make polished for another to read it.
Poetry is a flowing of the words, it could make a stanza (2-12 lines) or it could make a sonnet (14 lines with 10 Syllables in each). It could be free verse, blank verse or written word, narratives or story telling. There is no end to your writing, staying committed and continuing to write is the hardest part.
So if you have always wanted to have a go, just do it. Who knows where it will lead?
